Attacked the NR at Talasea and destroyed everything except for 1 x-wing which is in the Wedge Antilles Hero Unit and is invincible (doesn't lose any health at all), I have like 35 fighter squadrons attacking it and he takes no damage.

I’m trying to invade a planet with 5 New Republic heroes and they are kicking my butt.  What Empire units do well against heroes?  Is there a planet where I can recruit Dark Jedi or something to deal with them?.

You can bring them down but AA-ATs are meh.

 Depends on the map as well but you can use the AA turrets. Kessel for has a lot of emplacements in rings so you can set up kill zones.

 Mobile defense the bombers kinda need to fly over it not defense at the target area.

 I also do a mobile/aggressive defense to bait the AI into bombing a forward position with a fall back position behind that.

 Garrison units seem to be unlimited respawn.

I'm having the same issue, both with New Republic and with EotH.  Thrawn spawns, but the mission log doesn't update and even after killing Thrawn the era doesn't progress.

The menu battle is a specific space map specified in the gameconstants.xml; the menu essentially runs that map AI vs AI and shows the battlecam view.

Red banding on raid fleet star destroyers is likely to be the team colour specified for whichever faction entity we use for the raid fleets (so the same as how team colours work in skirmish).

Just wondering if it's still possible to take them down before they reach their mark.  At least, they've had their survivability increased, right?  Reason I ask, is in the maps I actually try to defend (where the power generator is actually placed under the shield), I tend to make an array of air defense from every possible angle.  However, the bombers always get through.  I've watched multiple AT-AA's unloading on the Y-wing runs in complete futility. If I recall correctly, the vanilla bombers were relatively easy to bring down if you had adequate air defense, but in TR not sure.  Is it still worth trying to bring them down?  Or are my 10 ground slots better served with other units?

Question--

Not sure if this is appropriate here, but I haven't had much success in other modding forums, so I thought i'd ask these questions:

How do you produce the opening cinematics that play during the opening menu of the games? Where are these stored, and how do they play?

Also, I'm curious about the red "banding" on the models of the star destroyers, etc. that show up in the raid fleets. Are these specific models, or does the scripting or xml somehow determine how the red banding appears on the ships?

I'm doing a first playthrough of the mod, I've had a lot of fun so far, but I'm running into a problem.
I can't seem to advance past era 2 as the New Republic. I've killed Isard, which gave me tech 2 (I think), as the correct heroes did spawn, but the mission to kill her didn't complete. Thrawn also spawned as the Imperial leader (I had already killed him as the leader of the Empire of the Hand), but killing him doesn't appear to do anything. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
