yes i have heard rumors about the new metal gear solid game as well

It's supposed to feature Big Boss and detail Outer Heaven(there is also Rising but I'm iffy about that one)

Even so, 33% of the class being destroyed isn't all that bad in the Vong War. IT certainly says nothing about how effective they were, even if Bounty or Viscount were also destroyed. They would have been prime targets for the Vong fleets in a battle.

I meant since they were basically kept away or out of the main lines of conflict that they were not effective to the overall war effort.(Lusankya did more than all of them combined just at Borleias alone)

Resident Evil 6, Assassin's Creed 3 and the elusive yet rumored Metal Gear Solid 5.

In any event the Viscount would have less firepower than the Executor class since it was a full 2 kilometers shorter and was finished in peacetime and much fewer were constructed. They may not have been immensely effective in any regard as 2 of 3 built were destroyed in the Vong war(One destroyed in construction dock, another in an ambush on the way to defend Kuat) the Viscount herself saw little action save for the battle of Mon Calamari near war's end.

3) My last idea was to make Karrde a land hero as well. He could have the Bribe ability, and he could have a summon vornskyrs ability.

I like this idea, and it would make Karrde much more useful to the NR...

i havent read the thrawn books so i apologize
Apology accepted, welcome back by the way Zsinj, been awhile since I've seen your posts.

Something I might like to see would be jet troopers again. They were great for getting around, quick strikes and the Empire still maintained them for years(according to Wookiepedia, The Essential Guide to Warfare, and The Force unleashed.)

Wasn't it just Jerec and his little band of like 6 insane jedi?

The Pentastar Alignment worked with each other faction while refusing to commit forces to them(though mostly from a neutral position so as not to provoke the separate Warlords, Empire proper or the New Republic) They helped fund Cronus and supported the Prophets of the Dark side in their attempts to gain control of the Empire albeit from a distance. Jerec and his 6 dark jedi worked in the Alignment while being provided units, material and funding to find the valley of the Jedi to secure the Alignment's victory or so Jerec claimed. Some of the former Inquisitors took shelter in the Alignment as enforcers or hunkered down to escape notice before later joining the Second Imperium. So the Pentastar Alignment had it's share of Dark Jedi and other force users for a time, more than most of the other factions did to be sure.

They are good support ships,  normally use them for running battles on the side of the map in flanking maneuvers rather than head long charge.

"All animals are created equal; some are just more equal than others." Great book.
Love that quote!

Well here's a theory. The A,X,B,K, Y and V wings could be named not for their shape but for some other characteristic.
For instance, B wing probably stands for BOMBER
V for velocity
X for the way the targeting system is represented(I.E. the crosshairs)
(I don't have a clue for the rest but that could be why they are called by those names. it may have nothing to do with the alphabet)

Yeah, I'm pretty dead set on adding another NPF to the mod in 2.0, but whatever we ultimately do we're gonna aim for something a bit more unique, powerful or diverse (or some combination thereof) than another single-planet IR clone.

Like adding Jerec's custom ship and a few Jedi(generic like the NRs mass produced Jedi) to the Pentastar Alignment not as buildable but spawning say two units of them? Since the Pentastar backed Jerec and his jedi, some inquisitors and Cronus, that would add a little diversity...

niles declaan is a new one to me (another dark jedi?) and yeah i guess your right he never did sleep and he had many things going at one time

Declaan was an imperial officer promoted to Grand Admiral because he had force sensitivity and specialized in Battle meditation, he wasn't really a full dark jedi, but a product of the prophets of the dark side. He was utterly loyal to Palps and when he felt him die by Vader's hand instead of leaving the station or continuing his meditation he rushed to the Throne room on the Death Star II and arrived just as it exploded killing him instantly.

i give up on almania but kueller was vastly powerful he made darth revan or darth krayt look weak he could kill millions of people just by thinking about it. 8)

Krayt and Revan weren't especially powerful compared with Sidious, Tremayne, Lumiya and others, so I wouldn't think Kueller that powerful.

Magic?

On the subject of SSD's, I was thinking about the Hunt for Zsinj campaign. Zsinj never built any SSD's, so giving him that ability would make him a bit OP. However, he did try to steal one from Kuat, the Razor's Kiss. Therefore, maybe when you capture Kuat as Zsinj, you should be given an SSD as a capture bonus.

I actually like this idea, but if it was a capture bonus wouldn't it work for the NR and Teradoc factions as well?

i just got darth plageius and i think it was something of a let down in my view all i want to know now is how his masters master torn the fabric that the jedi sensed....... ,njo was darker and the yuzong vong where awsome i enjoyed that as well they bought a whole need breed of not everyone survives which i thought star wars needed ....... i think i have most books but all mine are online now since someone thought it funny to steal and burn my whole collection of star wars books ...:(

I liked Darth plageus for revealing Sidious's origins and mind set. It also really showed how devious he was, since he influenced Plageus to pick ideas that were really Sidious's without him ever realizing it.
It also had a lot of cameos from other books(C'baoth, the Black Sun, Xizor, Dorianna, Pestage, Armand Isard and others.

NJO was great to me because I  liked seeing the Almighty NR get it's rear kicked across space!(Always was a fan of the Empire myself. It also brought Pellaeon back to the forefront and had pretty much EVERYONE in the galaxy in it thrown into one war. It was beautiful in it's entirety or war.
