That actually is the best area of the Galaxy to start in. They are heavily fortified with turrets on land and bunkers. In space they have three planets with Golan IIIs. back this up with Scourge Squadrons 24 Star Destroyers, some Hypervelocity guns and Turbolasers then lord help the poor fool that attacks them.

Though tlmiller covered Harrsk's personality well in that summary here is his full bio that I know of after Endor...it's not really all that impressive...
Blitzer Harrsk was an Admiral who was nearly killed at Endor, he went rogue almost immediately after the fleet regrouped at Anaj. He took his ISDmkII and the two remaining Tectors of Death Squadron to the Deep Core where he declared himself Supreme Warlord of his little Empire dubbed Zero Command. He never was much of a threat and most of his rivals saw him as something of an idiot. He never amassed a larger fleet than 12 ISDs and got imbroiled in a petty war with High Admiral Truetan Teradoc for three years before being killed by Natasi Daala for refusing to unite with his fellow Warlords against the NR. He was a short angry fellow with a face like Two Face from batman(one side hideously burned the other perfectly cared for.) In spite of his egomania and virtual weakness in Galactic terms he managed to outlive many more powerful and intelligent Warlords(Isard,Zsinj and Kaine just to name a few) Luck apparently favors the fellow in SWEU...until nerve gas and Daala come into play(Only damn thing she ever did right). So Harrsk died in a pool of his own vomit pounding on a sealed door like the little coward he was so all's well that ends well.

Indeed he was. Kaine is one of my favorites to be sure. I just wish an author would expand on the Pentastar Alignment as a whole and the Shadow Hand campaign from Kaine, Delvardus, harrsk, Teradoc and the other warlords campaigns in more detail. It was a dark time and they all came within a hairsbreadth of destroying the NR, they don't get much credit for that but it was Kaine's strategy from the New Territories and guidance that allowed the Imperials into the Core from the outside and made Palps Shadow hand offensive that much more effective.

i think Kaine was the best. If i8t werent for the super-powered Emperor and his cloning facilities that made him immortal, he would have probably outlasted zsinj, and maybe took the rest of the Empire

Kaine was a great leader and he did outlive Zsinj by 2 years, Pitta and Grunger by 5 years. He was the only warlord who's Empire did not disintegrate into internecine fighting after he died. His one flaw was that he expected the Empire to rally to him and create a New Empire based from the New Territories rather than the other areas which he felt would eventually either destroy themselves or come to his side. He thought as long as he maintained his kingdom and was neutral to every other faction others would not see him as hostile but a champion of the Imperial ideal. All it ended up doing though was making most Imperials think Kaine was afraid to give up some power by leaving his Empire. When Thrawn came back he grudgingly gave him a meager force, but after Thrawn proved himself Kaine was going to throw in with him fully-right at the moment Thrawn was assassinated. The Reborn Emperor recruited him and had him lead the campaign to attack into the core while the Shadow hand fleet and deep core warlords attacked from the inside. Kaine defeated the NR in twelve battles in a row with minimal losses so he was a very competent military commander. After Palps was killed the last time Kaine was assassinated when his shuttle was attacked by supposed NR E Wings(It could easily have been a number of rivals who either orchestrated his death or leaked Kaine's route to the NR so they could take him at his most vulnerable)

This doesn't really fit within how From the Ground Up actually works, and a lot of it seems overly scripted and linear for a sandbox game.

I wasn't fully sure how FTGU went, so I took a best guess. The missions for it could also be applied to The Stars Align. I just pretty much put all my best ideas into one go. What did you think of my suggestions for the other GCs?

Is there any way you could give Golans to the PA/Warlords in the XMLs?
Tried out Empires at War and was very satisfied. Don't know why but the fact that i'm commanding a Warlord faction is just so much more fun than regular IR even though they are pretty much identical.

Greetings all. The Pentastar Alignment is to be playable in the upcoming 2.0. They will even have a specific GC designed on them. Any and all ideas for it are welcome. Here are a few of mine.

THE STARS ALIGN(Start with Kaine and his heroes with 7 planets. Opponents are Warlords(7 planets), NR(8 planets) and IR( 9 planets) 33 total. Galactic domination with side mission Valley of the Jedi(use Jerec to get to Ruusan and kill katarn. Once done you will have access to the Inquisitor Dark jedi and all force powers receive 25% boost while Ruusan is controlled by the PA.
FROM THE GROUND UP(Start with Bastion and Ardus Kaine and Jerec with Scourge Squadron(Some ISDs, VSDs, and a few lighter ships) You have to build the PA from scratch, including recruit the heroes other than Kaine and Jerec. your opponents are Warlord Zsinj and his heroes(start at Dathomir), The IR under Isard and her heroes(Start at Coruscant), The NR under Mothma and her heroes(Start At Mon Calamari).  missions are recruit Grand Admiral Grant by taking a fleet to Orinda to foil the IR from killing him. If successful he joins you with his ISD. Second mission is to form the PA talks. Take Kaine to Orinda and there each member of the PA will jump in at various points under attack by either Warlord, IR or NR forces. The mission is to save each member from each ambush and then survive a raid of 2 ISDs, 2 VSDs and a Dominator SD. Once done you gain the other four founding members of the PA as heroes and their bonuses with new units.) Once formed take the war to the enemy and conquer the galaxy. 30 planets total
FRACTURED EMPIRE- same as before but with the PA as playable and side mission of rescuing Grand Admiral Grant to gain him as a hero
EMPIRES AT WAR-start with all heroes and the number of planets the Warlord PA faction had in 1.3. Conquer the galaxy.

I did some extensive research on the PA. Here are my suggestions:
As to units I say the standard infantry unit should be the PA Enforcers and have the PA logo on them somewhere and be about the level of Zsinj's Raptor Troopers as elite troops.
Replace the regular Stormies role with Imperial Army Troopers

(you could use the Navett model minus the rank and hat, place the long black helmet on their head like the NR troopers used to wear or use the old field commander model with different coloring.)
The Inquisitors(as generic Dark Jedi opposed to the NRs Jedi) and their Judgement Troopers as Zsinj suggested.
The Enforcement Picket Ship and multiple ships used by corporate powers(marauders, corvettes and some pirate like vessels.
Also to further distance from the IR counterpart, I suggest leaving the coloration on the Hulls of their ships as when they were a warlord faction(I.e the light blue stripe along the edges of the ISDs and VSDs. Putting the colors or logo on the ground forces too would help to differentiate as a breakaway faction.
The Floating fortress as a heavy command vehicle.
Also you could deny them certain IR ships. For instance the PA might not construct Tectors, SSDs, or TIE Defenders.

For heroes I've got a few suggestions as well:
Grand Admiral Octavian Grant who took refuge in the PA for 2 yrs, the cause of his defection was loss of faith in Kaine becoming the dominant force in the galaxy. He could have an ISD. TO acquire him you have to do a mission to save him from IR forces trying to kill him. If successful he joins you as a hero.

Gov. Ib Dekeet as an Imperial Gov. he was part of the PA talks and brought considerable land forces into the PA. He could have a ground command vehicle and be the land hero besides Jerec.

Gregor Raquoran was Commerce Master Commissioner and aligned with the PA in the PA talks. he brought considerable financial power to the PA. A shuttle in space and gives a monetary boost to the planet he is on.

Elta Besk was the head of Dynamic Automata, a droid design and manufacturing corporation. She joined the PA because it was more lenient on slave labor than the NR. She could offer a production boost in build time being reduced. She could have a shuttle in space.

Wyrn Otro worked for Galentro Heavy Works corporation, also testing many of the weapons manufactered. He could also have a ground command vehicle and he could give an attack boost to heavy vehicles in the Alignment.

Definitely like this idea, this would be pretty cool. Also had another suggestion:

Thrawn Campaign- Send leia to Endor to rendezous with the noghri ship. After this, the Noghri civvies on Honogr will be on your side, and on any planet you attack that has Noghri commandos, the Commandos will revolt and join you.

This would actually be quite awesome...can it be done? You could even use this to kill Thrawn!

Its no problem at all and yes i have made the Era progression work i will upload them soon.
I'm also Learning how to Code more things that i didn't know how to. Even though they are simple copy and pastes with one word replacements.

And Xizer i also made the Warlords playable in the Empires at War GC which is pretty much the Pentastar Alignment.

mon calamari live on Mon Calamari, not sulis van. just to let you know.

He's referring to when in Heir to the Empire Thrawn tried to use captured mole miners to take over Mon Cal cruisers and many other NR vessels that were being used as cargo ships due to a shortage. He very nearly succeeded and would have had about 45 capital ships as a result. I think this idea has merit.
