I've read a few of these Duel on aviation topics, can't say I was impressed (I now avoid them but maybe I was unlucky on those I read or maybe only the ones on aviation topics were dispensable), but I enjoyed much of the Aircraft of the Aces, Aviation Elite Units or Combat Aircraft series.

If I can advice book on the air war over the Pacific :

John Lundstrom's The First Team serie
Shattered Sword : The Untold Story of the Battle of Midway by Jon Parshall & Anthony Tully

As I said, I read most at tactical level :
Genda's Blade : Japan's Squadron of Aces : 343 Kokutai by Henry Sakaida & Koji Takaki (they lately produced a more general on a more wider subject Aircraft of the Aces on the subject)
Eagles of the Southern Sky - The Tainan Air Group in WWII by Luca Ruffato & Michael Claringbould (the book
For USAAF bomber unit histories in the Pacific, have a look here : http://irandpcorp.com/current-projects-2/

I have also : Bruce Gamble's serie about Rabaul and William Wolf's serie about V Fighter Command, but not sure how good it is.

I'm reading a lot about WWII aviation and doing few researches on the subject so that way I know a little grand strategy and other component of WWII armed forces. I am therefor surprised that you guys here know more than the average members of dedicated forums !

You made a point here that is often overlooked so I had to complete it :
The IJN suffered a loss of 110 aircrew (not just pilots, in fact less than the Americans that lost 188 aircrew), most of them (72) from the Hiryu. So despite the losses of most (2/3 if not counting the escort aircraft carriers) of its carriers, the IJN still had a pool of 2000+ qualified carrier pilots available. The core of the Story Group EU is composed of a dozen of poor novels (there's only a handful of good ones), lots of poor comics (there's only a handful of good TPBs), tons of mobile games and awful child shows.

No matter how you take it, worst, best, average, the Story Group Canon did not match, and I am very doubtful it will ever, the Legends one. Even with them picking, out of context, Legends content or even counting the pre-Legends Marvel comics or Ewok movies as part of Legends.

Legends. The Story Group Canon works' quality do not compare to the Legends ones quality. And if it continue like that, the Disneylogie gonna be awful.

The X-1 Viper would be a nice add. The Shadow droid is cool but that's just another fighter, so I don't think it's a priority to add. We already have the TIE Droid after all.

For the NR capital ships, my wish is fulfilled with the Home One. At last a battleship for the NR, albeit a small one but early on. I am also happy we may have the Republic-Class Destroyer.

For Vestara, she used to be the only love interest he had at the time he is 18 (in Crucible). For me it's not even enough for a guess, but that's your tree after all :) .

I saw a big one published lately but your one is very good too. I think you make a mistake in writing "Female Muun Sith" as wife of Caar Damask.
Also I don't think Ben Skywalker and Vestara Khai could have ended together, despite Star Wars say "nobody is beyond redemption". Even more unlikely that Lumiya ending with Luke...

The Vong is obviously a good choice for a different faction. That being said that would need to introduce new mechanics to be interesting to play and to look "realist" by the lore's standard, but I'm confident in the team for that. Some also may be bothered to have the Vong fighting PA or Palpy's superweapons but there's always hankward combats in such games/mods.

But from what I've read, I always tought that the next two factions (after the first four) would be Hapes and the Ssi-Ruks, so my hopes for the last slot are focused on the Vong Empire.

Clone Wars cartoon is fairly superior, in 2h (that's the equivalent of about 6 episodes of TCW) they bring us so much and a wonderful bridge between AotC and RotS whereas TCW only claim is probably to have mess up Legends continuity :-\\

TCW episodes are so empty and so childish, a few good ones can't make me change my opinion.

That would be nice to have Jedi paired, Luminara/Bariss, Obi-Wan/Anakin, Quinlan Vos/Aayla Secura, Ki-Adi-Mundi/A'Sharad Hett,... but that would made them OP I think.
