hi. I have a new thing I think would be cool. since I don't know anyone very well, I though this would be fun to do. basically, it is giving the details of a hero for star wars thrawn's revenge 2.2 that would be you. what you have to tell is 1. name, 2. affiliation(what faction he/she is with), 3. rank/expertise( if he/she is ground or space or galactic hero), 4. what their command is, and 5. what era(s) he/she is in.

so an example:
name: Nathaniel Kahala
affiliation: Pentastar Alignment
Rank/Expertise: captain/space
command: Secutor star destroyer
eras: 1, 2, 3

hope this helps, and I can't wait to see ideas. my favorites might be picked for a infinities mini-mod I might do in a few years.

Greetings: DarthRevansRevenge here. so, i'm newish to the boards, only around for about a month or so, but I really enjoy the game and all it contains. I am split between the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic allegiance wise(No pun intended about 2.2, so not the battlecruiser), and I have been really loking forward to 2.2. if you don't want to use my user name, call me Joseph.

in era five, will their be the corellian crisis like in legends? or was it too complicated it would close to impossible to code in?

also, once 2.2  out, will you mothball it again, or will you continue to work on it, but at a slower pace?

if you want more suggestions for diplomacy try AoTR, which has a great diplomacy system with sectors and rebels being able to incite rebellion. try it and see what else you find

yes, which is why the whole series is not just MC80s, like the MC90s, MC60s, and MC40s. this was why their were the MC80 liberty class, MC80 Independence, MC80B, MC80A, wingless liberty, and so on. I'm pretty sure the MC80 designated technology level more than actual class. the MC80s are the most varied of ANY star wars region of ships I know of, but they were all on independent classes within the classification. otherwise, why have the Liberty class and MC80Bs if you have that attitude. their were at least 3 Home one/Independence class vessels at Endor alone, and I'm sure their were more. look up home one class on Wookieepedia, and you will see what I mean. maybe the wiki explains this better than me, but I'm pretty sure this explains it. again, after you check it, you can correct me. I won't, cause the wiki runs SO slow on my computer

but I agree. the new republic started noble and trying to do right, but Leia, Mon Mothma, Ackbar, and others stepped down and let the greedy ones take over, ruining everything they built and destroying the galxy for the Yuuzhan vong

ugh, I love the SSDs, but I have to go NR. their tech and stuff are amazing.

why do you want a Bellator? the New Republic gets capture units already, as explained above, and I'm pretty sure the new republic can get 2 executors in the corse of the mod in different story events PLUS the viscounts, which you can always remove the build limit for them if you want. why do you want more? the new republic liked hit-and-run tactics, and didn't want SSDs until shadow hand, and then developed their own. so, again, why do you want/need more?

it would be cool to have a sub-mod putting new republic logos on all captured ships though

I doubt it. if they tried 3 times already to make it and failed, I don't think they will try a fourth. then again, I might be wrong, but I personally would just use the best model they have made in 2.2, instead of make a new one

yes, each one was unique, however, each group/class of mon calamari ships was built and armed on a similar guide line, especially after endor. so, while each ship has some variation, they are also extremely similar, like in WW2 Yamato class battleships or any other class of big ships. sure, small armament changes here, different engines there, extra armor over there, but they are built and commission as warships on the same guide lines

since you don't seem to know, the MC 80 Independence/Home One class of starships were they biggest ships the rebel alliance could operate before they morphed into the New Republic, Home One being the primary example, leading the assault on the death star 2 and staying in service till 21 ABY. these ships, which are in the mod (Home One) were more powerful then ISDs. I think, if they were produced, they should be a little more powerful than already portrayed, and made a 5 pop unit for eras 1-3 when they were used.
