It has to be a GC with Tavira as a hero. You can build a pirate base at her location, which allows construction of the Interceptor IV and Crusader.

ISD loadouts already change with era, including Preybirds in era 5.

They were moved to a lua script for greater flexibility, such as faction-dependent loadouts and the ability to be recalled when single unit retreating.

You can find the loadouts in Data\Scripts\Library\GameObjectLibrary.lua


Note that heroes still use the XML system

The Dark Trooper project was detroyed and discontinued several years before the battle of Endor. There wouldn't be a significant number of them left during the mod's time period.

The Assertor will not have gravity well projectors (or a superlaser, if anyone was wondering). ICW's Assertor will be based on the official version, not Fractal's backstory.

Those ships are almost all fanon, which is not something we're interested in adding.

However, more designs from Legends will continue to be added in future versions. In particular, the Assertor is being worked on, and the Mandator II is planned for Fall of the Republic and will most likely appear in ICW as well. You can also see previews of the Vigil corvette and PX-4 Mobile Command Base on Corey's YouTube channel.

Finally, the Vengeance Super Star Destroyer is already in the mod, as one of the Pentastar Alignment's heroes.

Eriadu actually has shielded TIE interceptors, which probably rank higher than the regular ones the Empire gets in Era 1 and 3.

On the other hand, Era 2 empire has a Scimitar and a Shielded interceptor, era 4 has a Howlrunner and an A9  Vigilance, and Era 5 has Preybirds.

No. Technically, the emergency retreat does kill all your ships, so they will be counted as losses on the battle summary and they won't typically return to the galactic map where you'd expect a retreating fleet to. Instead, you should get a text prompt in the upper left telling you your units have retreated to a random planet you own, where you'll be able to find them.

If you're technically inclined, the fix is pretty simple. Navigate to whereveryoursteamfolderlives\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\32470\1125571106\Data\XML\ICW\Hardpoints_Ground.xml

and increase the fire cone height under <HardPoint Name="HP_Empire_AA_Turret">

<Fire_Cone_Height>180.0</Fire_Cone_Height> will definitely allow firing.

It's a known bug, an error in how the hardpoint for it was set up.


If you're technically inclined, the fix is pretty simple. Navigate to whereveryoursteamfolderlives\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\32470\1125571106\Data\XML\ICW\GoundTurrets.xml

and change the line under <GroundStructure Name="Pirate_Anti_Vehicle_Turret"> from

<Hardpoints>Proj_Ground_AV_Turret_Laser_Red</Hardpoints>

to

<Hardpoints>HP_Rebel_AV_Turret</Hardpoints>

The B5 (Which the Empire still gets) didn't. It's the better armed A6 variant that can't transport.

It's a tooltip error. There are in fact 54 hardpoints that fire heavy turbolasers.

The list of possible names does include ones found in Legends, as well as a few extras:

The text on the selection rings is stored as an image. You have to edit the texture (DDS) file in order to alter it.

The basic units won't get shields, but there are shielded variants of both TIE fighters and Interceptors that appear in several places. Most notably in hero fighters and Eriadu Authority star destroyers.

The average ICW name list is 23 names long, and there are 18 names for the Allegiance, 29 for the ISD II, and 49 for the ISD I. This is all EaW's fault :(

The Hutts are coded in, bit not used anywhere except possibly some indigenous units. Mandalorians have a small fleet over Mandalore in several GCs.

Interesting find. I don't think most of the Empire Reborn transfers to EaW very well, though. Aside from a dark Jedi type or two and possibly mark 1 droid walkers, I'm not sure this would bring any new units to the table. It would open up a lot of hero options, though, which is something Zero Command would certainly need if they get fleshed out.

Golan Threes can be built on any level three shipyard in addition to Coruscant, Muunilinst, Bastion, and Centares. There are two variants to make that work.
