Imperial Civil War Tech Support / Unable to find friend for matchmaking

Sorry that I have to be asking this, but its a problem that my friend and I have run into.  We use Gameranger for joining games and well, when we attempted to start up in Thrawn's Revenge, we go to the LAN area and we are unable to find one another when either of us host it.  I'm just trying to figure out what the problem is and if you guys have a solution that we can quickly do.

Imperial Civil War Tech Support / Thrawn Crash

I apologize for posting, but I've spent the last two days tearing out my hair looking for a solution, then spent the better part of an hour going through most of the threads here and not getting an adequate answer.

But while playing as the Pentastar Alignment, it's pretty much come down to a situation to where I so much as look at Thrawn in a bad way while he is in the Empire, my game crashes in a bad way.

Now, again, I apologize for bringing this subject up, because frankly, I figure you guys are all busy.  But, it's come to the point to where I'm about to just screw it, bottle up  Thrawn at Obroa-Skai, and go and finish the entire game stuck at Thrawn's Era simply because I can't do anything about it.

Is there any solutions available, I've attached what the except log has given for the error, so hopefully that will help.
