Ascendancy Discussion / World Devastator Role
« on: May 02, 2014, 03:23:52 AM »We're not quite sure which direction we'll take these in, but we've got a few different ideas.
Could you hint as to what the directions would potentially be? I can't imagine much outside of "lol there goes your planet's health" making it basically a DOT version of the galaxy gun (which I suppose would also give you some resources in exchange).
Oh, would it be possible for the devastators to create ships themselves and serve as mobile factories that could only (hopefully) use the resources they ate off of the planet?

Heyo!
I'm just now getting into Rebellion and I wanted to know what everyone's favorite race is to play and any tips/tricks they have for it (or the game in general).
For myself (if anyone is at all interested) I really dig the Vasari, being able to make an enemies planet a phase stabilizer is lovely and the hit and run feel in general is pretty fun.

Imperial Civil War Tech Support / Hotfix 2 issue

When I try to put hoxfix two into my imperial civil war folder I get this error:it tells me it cannot be installed due to this reason:
Data\XML\Planets.xml: unknown version.
Anything I can do about that?

Hai there! Love all things Star Wars and I'm enthralled with this mod. If you couldn't tell, I prefer the Imperials, and specifically The Pentastar Alignment!

Discussion, Suggestions & Feedback / Fleet Composition

I was curious to see every ones' favorite and ideal fleet make-up whether it be for fun or just a very sound fleet (for any faction)!
Since I have most of my experience with the IR I have to say it is a bunch of Katana Dreadnoughts with a couple Lancer and Strike cruisers as support with an ISD-II at the lead is fun to play with.
I'd love input from other factions since I'd like to start a campaign as each faction fairly soon.
