Ascendancy Tech Support / Game Crashes when I try to Load a Saved Game

Greetings!

I downloaded this mod yesterday and have been having a wonderful experience playing thus far. Unfortunately, it does not appear that I can actually load a saved game! Can someone please provide advice (yes, I checked the game cache).
