Ok I just started a new game and I’m having a bit of trouble on deciding how to start off. Also when do you get access to their battleships ( the one bigger than the phalanx I can’t remember it’s name)

Now I know I’ve been out of the loop for awhile and I’ve definitely missed a few things but I’ve had this on my mind for awhile so what can we expect for the hapes cluster in 2.5 will we be seeing more planets and for the battle dragon variants  how big can we expect them to be model wise and what type of weaponry will they have.
Now I understand completely that you may not want to tell and want to keep people in suspense and if that’s the case then I understand and won’t pry for more info. But if you can tell us it would be awesome to to hear the current progress.

Ok This has bugged me for awhile (not saying its a big problem) but in era 5 the IR was having issues with getting enough tie fighters to replace what they had lost. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a separate star destroyer with prey birds instead

So with the drop of Corey’s first look at Fall of the Republic
I just wanted to ask what legions or battalions we might see added
The 501st and 212th non negotiable considering who they were commanded by but what about the others
I personally would like to see the galactic marines under mundi
What do you guys think will be added

For thousands of years in the EU coruscant was the galactic capital wether it be the empire or republic

I was wondering if you might add a mechanic where if you control coruscant you can build a building for each faction that makes them the legitamate galactic power
It could give a faction bonus like a 5 to 10% increase in taxes faction wide or just make it work like the other special buildings

It would kind of makes sense being as the new republic worked so hard to capture coruscant and the Imperial remnant working so hard to keep it

For the faction buildings you could of have
NR galactic senate
IR Mott council
For the warlords I’m not to sure what they would do but it would probably be them making their own more council and declaring themselves head of state

This question has really bothered me here recently considering the game has over 120 planets in its largest gc
I was beginning to wonder how many planets are allowed to be on a single map ( maybe an artificial limit)
Because if there isn’t one or you haven’t neared it yet are working on a bigger GC that includes more or are is it something the team has been thinking about.

I noticed this while I was looking up the tie hunter and tie avenger the other day and was wondering if it might ever be given to a faction
The page describes it as a multi purpose fighter/bomber.
To be truthful it looks like the tie version of an arc 170

I was wondering how you would incorporate the remnants of the cis into the mod.

It is said that’s the empires first campaign was the reclamation of all separatist hold outs, so I was thinking that might be able to see a really weakened cis vs a young empire.

I know some of you are wondering how it would work due to most of the droid army being shut down well here’s a few reasons it could. 

1. You could give the cis a militia like unit made up of non droids.

2. Some of these hold outs had some very large forces defending them; if you could for a push you could create break out of the pockets that they were forced into too

3. They still had a decent grip on the western reaches of the galaxy

I was looking around for more information on the yevetha ( because I didn’t get to read the books on them) and I found this.

According to Ayddar, the order of battle for Black Sword includes forty-four capital ships which we have not seen nor heard of since the fall of the Emperor. None smaller than a Victory-class Star Destroyer. Three are Superclass vessels.

That’s a quote I found while looking for information on the black sword command; so I did a little more digging and it doesn’t say if they were destroyed or not.

so I was wondering how are you going to fit those other two in or even if you plan to at all.

I can’t believe I forgot about these things.

I was wondering if there was ever a plan to add world craft into the mod.

I was thinking it could be a defensive station or a economy building you can build.  I know there were few of these things but I could see the war lords attempting to build something like this for their respective empires.

Do you think in the later stages of the mod we might see some what if scenarios like
1.  The Jedi survive and the republic is split in two republic vs young empire
2.  Dooku betrays Sidious and the Separatist assault the core worlds and they win

Something like that to be honest it would be nice to see, you could do this with ICW aswell

Will there be any mandators in the game for the republic.
If so how will they be used??
I know they were all mainly used for defensive purposes but they could be used for offense aswell.
You could make them extremely slow like how the death star was in the actual game to make it less viable to use and it’s upkeep could be pretty high aswell.
Well there’s my two cents on this subject.

Was thinking about factions that existed during the time of the republic and was wondering what your guys take them would be and whether or not they might make it in the mod later on

Chiss ascendancy ( this might be a good chance to flush out the unknown regions)
Hapes consortium
Black sun
And any others that were in existence at the time.

Will there be any crime organizations running around on the map at all in this mod.

It’s no secret that criminal underworld was active during the war and they profited greatly from it.

It would be nice to see the black sun or the huts added into the game (non playable factions)

It’s known that the hutts allowed the republic to use there space to move troops so you probably pass through there territory peacefully

If there not added as factions maybe they could be something like the corporations and if you build one you get a bonus to income.

I’ve noticed in a few mods depending on the station level you can upgrade it’s spawn units to where if you do you can call in more advanced ships.

Is it possible we might see this integrated into the mod, I could see it being more of an era mechanic
It would obviously vary depending on the shipyard.
Light frigate shipyard: small frigates and corvettes and fighter squadrons (thinking maybe a few nebulon bs and some cr90s with a small fighter compliment)
Heavy frigate shipyard: heavy frigates and some support light frigates and maybe a carrier ( for this a dreadnaught or an assault frigate with some lighter frigates and small carrier and some anti fighter)
Capital shipyard: 1 or 2 capital ships (depending on faction) and some heavy frigates

For how this works for the era mechanic it could be a planetary upgrade or it could be tied to the station and I would be an upgrade that you would pay for (obviously) as for how it would work with true era system it could be something that you could upgrade it for your the era your in but once you reach a new era the old upgrade will be locked out and replaced with that eras specific upgrade.

I know that this is a lot of work and I don’t expect it to be done before 2.2 (that would be ludicrous) or really done at all, but it would be nice to see something like it in a later patch wether it be in 2.3,2.4 or 2.5

Ok I recently watch the era 5 breakdown and I'm quiet interested in the megador and as to type of ssd it will be, I know Corey said it would probably be a bellator but I know that during one of his lets plays he discussed that he was or had someone working on a assertor model just in case the team might need it, well I think this might the perfect opportunity for it to be added
