Quick check and didn't find this bug.

Essence
EotH
Week 12
Assaulted Coruscant, killed Sate Pestage. Isaard appeared right over Coruscant with my fleet. No battle triggered.

She moved away fairly quickly...but still seems odd.

Hey TR team:

I was reading the manual and saw the capital armor (armour) type, but then I noticed that none of the capital ships use this type. Instead, they all seem to use Frigate armour types. The super ships use the SSD type, but is there a balance-related reason or some other reason for the capitals to use Frigate type?

Thanks for all the hard work! Loving the mod as always!

How about ICW v2.2 - Corey Loses Civil War?

Lately I've found a good use for strike craft - cheap and fast to build garrison forces. Since light frigate space stations just spit out 2 X-wing and 2 Y-wing squadrons at a time, having another 12 squadrons of E-wings, B-wings, etc, can be a nice cheap equalizer.

That being said, perhaps making the cost of buying strike craft lower is worth considering. If the team does go the route of buying wings of fighters versus a single squad, can you also bump up the production time?

Hey TR Team!

It's been a long time, glad to see the mod is still going strong. Looking forward to the fun-sounding new elements of 2.2.

You guys always excel, and the community certainly appreciates it.

Playing as EotH, when you have a capital shipyard in a battle in campaign mode, you can build ships at survival mode prices in a space battle, instead of being able to buy upgrades.

Anyone notice this playing as other factions?

Haven't checked in here in awhile. Glad to hear v2.1 is coming out soon. Happy holidays everyone.

Yup Anakin Solo's death.

Also, I'd give the EotH Super Star Destroyers in canon.

People who ask for SSDs for the EotH

Just booted up patch 1.5, Survival Mode EotH...

And I just wanted to say, I LOVE THE BU'DIRECH and how you start with one and two vigilances. The consistency in design elements make the three ship line just look...fantastic. Great job guys, just...beautiful.

Star Wars Discussion / Re: Yuuzhan Vong question
« on: June 29, 2013, 03:15:22 AM »
The Yuuzhang Vong chapter was okay, but I have to disagree with you. There was too much grey, not enough black and white. I think stories like Star Wars are held up as ideals for most people, a chance to see what an idealistic character, a true hero, would do in situations in which we, as fault-riddled human beings, know we would opt for the "grey" route.

Regarding Jacen Solo, I thought some parts were okay but my real gripe was that it was schizophrenic. Some authors wrote it TOO close to the fall of Anakin Skywalker. Others made him seem logical and calculating and put real weight behind his descent. But it just wasn't consistent enough. Also, I think that if Anakin Solo had never been killed (a poor decision that many of the Star Wars authors disagreed with), and kept as the primary hero of the Yuuzhan Vong war, instead of Jacen, I would have bought the Darth Caedus storyline better. The way it was done though, they completely undid a hero built up from that chapter of the EU.

Anakin Solo is the one death I am truly angry about. Mary Jade's was actually handled very very well in my opinion, and served a real purpose in terms of plot. It tore Luke out of inaction, and made Ben Skywalker a very interesting character.

2.  One of the volcanic maps has a abandoned sensor tower in the northwest region, but it's impossible to capture.  Hopefully I'll remember which map.

I believe that's the Gravan VII system map.

would it be possible to add a flying unit for IR and PA?

The IR already has the IDT, and the PA has the LAAT. If you're asking if they can get a fast moving airskimmer-like flying unit like the NR V-wing or EotH Aistraeker, the answer is probably no. They're supposed to have different capabilities, helps to further differentiate between the factions.

Hey guys, I've been mulling this for quite some time. Lets get straight to the point: the ISD I is useless and redundant. It's not much cheaper than the ISD II, is weaker, and carries a poorer fighter compliment. The only ones I (and I assume most everyone else) uses are the ones in the starting fleet and any heroes that command them. Therefore, I have created this thread to find a way to make them useful once again. Please post any suggestions you might have.

My idea is to frontload the fighters in the ISD I, whereas stagger the fighters for the ISD II. This would give the ISD I more immediate use and the ISD II more long-term support.

There is one slight advantage a MK1 has over a Mk2, it carries a lot more ion cannons. For this reason, I tend to make firegroups with one of each ISD to take down shields. I don't think changing the way fighters are deployed is a great idea. One thing might be the mix. For instance, the Mk1 could carry more bombers, say half fighters, half bombers, whilst the Mk2 carries only fighters and interceptors?

Another possibility is removing the tractor beam ability from the Mk2, thus leaving the Mk1 as the only ship with that ability. That would vastly increase its usefulness in fleets.

How about making sure it's a last ditch ability, like ONLY usable when HP < 20% or even less than that? That way you get a real shot at dismantling the ISD with weapons before it hits your Mon Cal Cruisers or Ascendancy SDs?

The Lounge / Re: As somebody who played a ton of SSB

I find this vaguely confusing.

As someone who's played a lot of Wii Fit, I think this makes perfect sense.

There is a question of the differences in firepower between the two ships in-game, as the Assault Frigate's quad laser cannons in-universe would probably cycle faster than turbolasers, but in 2.0, they fire at the same rate.

Always love the innovative ideas guys! Especially in terms of not simply porting over ICW abilities. I assume this will be a balance issue, but how powerful is the ramming? For instance, does ramming an ISD into a Praetor destroy both ships?
