9 years? I was 12-13 when this mod began. I might not be active at all anymore but it's nice to see everything has gone well. I'll give ascendancy a go when 1.0 is released.

Well it is realistic actually,in ideal conditions a star destroyer would field it's fighters to offset any such threat and in larger groups it would be escorted by Lancers.

Well It is far better than I thought it would be after last years troubles and really like the different GCs,especially the hunt for zsinj.
However the empire don't really have any interesting new land units,theres the white speeder which i haven't found to be very useful. The ATPT is quite good,the zsinj exclusive units are great,but I keep finding myself falling back on ATATs whilst the rebels spam me with a myriad of speeders,but this isnt really that much of a complaint though perhaps the white speeder could have shields?

Infantry is far too weak,yes it's realistic but not necessarily great in terms of gameplay. Although if you just slowed down the main infantry rate of fire then this would probably be fixed,because Ive not seen the original films in a while but don't the infantry usually fire one shot at a time anyway,usually?
Oh and how about to make up for the reduced fire rates you could introduce units with the E-web blaster turret which could get the original,or faster,rates of fire.

I find this annoying myself and when Im outnumbered it is leaves me at quite a disadvantage having my fleet and golan separated,and yet if you have capital ships you cant move them because they won't get their in time.


Its a damned pain,though I suffer from this and so does the AI so I'll let it go.

Thanks to him I'm having to hunt down the star wars films on dvd minus the ridiculous edits,not an easy task.

My VHS broke about a year ago so my videos are useless now.

Looks like a giant spider that would take waaaaaaaaay too much effort to make as well as waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much effort to edit all the land maps to actually make sure it could be used. (In summary, I don't plan on editing ~70 maps for one unit).

The number of turbolasers on a map is based on the number of markers on the map. The number of turbolasers vary from map to map, some have barely any, some have quite a few. They can only be built once but the resulting number varies with the number of the markers on the map.

Oh...fairplay.

Any way to stop the rebels love with turbolasers. Why do they build several on one map? It makes no difference over just one?


Oh and perhaps when buying the crimson VSDs you should get maybe three of them after the one purchase. Or allow the player to build more than the one,like a unit limit of 3.

In the 19 BBY campaign te remnant shouldnt own Bilbringi because that was lost during the Thrawn campaign.


I may be wrong though but that's what the planets description indicates.

It was used by Daala when she tried to kidnap the Solo children I think,invented by the governor of Carada.
The All Terrain Mountain Vehicle maybe?

I don't know if it's my place to say but hell.


Originally TR was to be put into 4 parts,the clone wars,galactic empire and new republic and a secret fourth era.


The fourth era was to be the Yuuzhan Vong war,but the mod itself almost died due to members leaving so to be frank we're lucky with what we've got.



There was a picture of an ingame vong fighter floating around in the admirals lounge at one point,but that subforum is long since gone.

If you're not in any rush you might as well wait for Steam to hold their next sale (they seem to be getting ever more frequent).  You might even get lucky and Star Wars/EAW make it onto a Daily/Weekend/Midweek deal.

Check Steam. It's $20 for EaW and FoC together normally, but goes down to like $5 on a sale.

Yeah, I'd say old-timers like you and Meyer are both pretty safe as far as any future beta post counts go.

I'm gonna have to buy FOC  again,I lost it ages ago but I've not seen it anywhere cheap,might just download it :)
