Why would EoTH have a superweapon.  As has been discussed multiple times, Thrawn didn't believe in superweapons, and so the EoTH will never have one.

No, because again, there's no way to stop the earlier stuff from being available. The build bar would just overflow, and there's no mechanism for  the original tech advancement anymore. Adding one in would break the era system. If it were just about having all the units in one GC for multiplayer, then we could just set it to era 5 to start, but again, there's too many units. They wouldn't fit on the build bar, at least half wouldn't be accessible and there would be a lot of redundancies. If it were done in a way that you still go through all 5 eras by buying some upgrade like the Empire did in the base game, you're still just going through the eras as they are, except without the necessary stuff to make it make sense and with nothing to remove the previous era's units. We can't make it so unit x is tech level 1 in multiplayer but tech level 5 in Singleplayer.

Here's what you can't do without story scripting that's relevant to the era system:
-You can't make any new heroes spawn after the game has started, they have to be starting units.
-You can't make the game progress tech levels upon hero death
-You can't remove access to any units
-You can't tie tech level of one faction to another

We already had to do a LOT of reorganization to even make having multiplayer GCs set in the earlier eras a possibility. The farthest we could go is one set in era 3 before necessary units *have* to start getting forced off the build bar by the game, but then you've still got the IR having access to both Sovereigns and the Executor and some other balance issues.
does that mean cammas crisis is out then?

But it makes sense that when the IR leader dies, the next era begins.  After all, that's how it really did happen (more or less).  After Isaard managed to screw up everything, Thrawn returned.  Doesn't matter if the other heroes of the time are still alive, the leader was dead...which generally is how they are separating the eras.
no i am asking that when isard dies that it stays in that era until all other major heros die then the era changes so acbar isard thrawn and who ever penstar one is have to die to change era it just changes so fast i think if only one dies just a thought i find in the game in the era changing ones the ai throws there heros around like crazy lol

can you make it so eras only change when all the major heros die i think its wrong when only one hero dies then everyone changes and gets more super powered people back.....all major heros should die to change era just a thought for 2.1 but i guess that would be hard right?

I would like to see the addition of the hardpoint: engines in some EoTH ships it's frustrating sometimes, they can come with some chaf destroyers hit my fleet and when I'm about to destroy'em they run away.
but thats the fun of the game lol (as someone would say )

but it does not have to be a ssd the rebellion have a viscount smaller but can take on a ssd thats what i was meaning and just a couple new small maps for 3-5 and about the hives how abour giving thrawn a choice of hives or golans or at lest beef up some defence on the hives they break to easy lol and one more thing make easy= easy, medium= medium and hard= hard easy is to hard even for my son try to give easy a 20 year cool down then attack or something if you can and good job getting in the top 100

then what will be your plans for future mods apart for assendecy which i just bought my sins of a solar empire for ? and will you be doing a little more for the eoth because honestly its a joke so far how it is (no offence) but what it has it very little in the way of others even the penstar i would rate eoth as the worst group to use so just asking will you be beefing it up a bit before bye byes and whats next

is it just me or does the lusysanka just do 180 turns in the middle of the battle so there back is to the enemy now just me or a glitch something that cant be fixed or eh i have noticed from the start it does it (start of the trawns revenges) its quite annoying because by the time you fix it your normally dead

i am playing make your own galaxy with no heroes its good but nal hutta ,nal hutta is about as fast a person who cant walk,walk it is digusting is just so slow i am playing the map for 30 minutes so far and i still do not have my bombing run its not my computeri have saved and restarted and made sure other games load at a good speed do something about that map cause it f***ing rooted and sucks a**

when you get a other fleet comming in niether side make it a verbal warning to not just a small writting in a corner i dont even get that sometimes
give eoth some more capital ships pls 3 are ok but the asendency can be shot up in like seconds i put that as a medium frigate not a capital
eoth to finally have a super wepon for the space battles (only faction that doesnt and its actually a game about him "THRAWNS REVENGE")
i still think golans are better to give eoth you just take a mass of fighters and it gets out 8 i destroy the hive i destroy the fighters even before the fleet gets near them hive are useless or at least beef up there securityor more star fighters
give the penstar more fighters to buy like the tie hunter maybe give it some missiles back to
maybe give thrawn not a ssd but a ship like one once again eoth is the only group who doent have a big ship imps and penstar has ssd rebels have viscount what about eoth?(i actually had some fun one day took 10 of the phalanax and 10 of the syndic everytime i got behime the ssd it started to move around and omg it moves around faster than my capitals movei actually got it down to half dead before it killed me )
and will you be making more era 3 4 5 maps at all
thats my ideas now just 1 question why is it that rebellion only have 1 ion cannon is there a reason or just made that way

how many fighters do these hives actually make i noticed on one planet i had 2 up it made a total of 2 each before it was raped and destroyed it has nothing to protect itself with why not just give them golans at least golans can protect themselves and even they pour out more than 2 fighters before they are destroyed i think the hives are a failure for eoth either give them more protection make more fighters come out and let the important capital ship places to be able to build more than 2 some places can build 2x3 2x2 1x1 golans it confuses me when you make new factions but dont finish a faction that has been there from day one

Totally agree tought I never finished rebellion it was too large
it  took me 1 whole day of playing... but my favourite trick was to captire all my side then take 1-2 planets in there side and leave a massive fleet there and have really big fights i tell you the rebellion had some firepower in that game lol

if you do make a new one after finishing version 2 maybe you could add the vong in as a faction and make senarios that could of happened what if endor went bad, what if thrawn won his civil war or was still going when the vong come honestly there is only ever 1 era 3 (shadow hand) 1 era 4 (dalla) and the rest are era 1 or 1-5 or n/a eras maybe more n/a eras will be good i will admit penstar is ok kind of but next one try to mix and match more i guess ......@ the people who mod this game have you ever played "rebellion" its a very old game for the 95 computers pity my laptop wont play it :'(
