Title: Endor Aftermath
Post by: Corey on August 23, 2016, 04:29:14 PM
We're doing a significant overhaul to all of the Galactic Conquest scenarios in 2.2; some completely new ones, some redundant ones removed, some significantly reworked and some formerly single-scenario setups split into multiple scenarios because of how much they cover. Part of the goal in this is to add in more story where it's appropriate, but we'll get to that later once the project is closer to finished.

For now, here's the layout of the Endor Aftermath GC. This GC is the primary Warlord-focused GC in 2.2, with all Imperial groups plus the New Republic, immediately after the Empire's fracturing. We'll have a news post soon where we break it down a bit more.

Looks nice, hope you will show hyperspace lines between planets in upcoming news post.

What have you done to my Reunification GC?

some completely new ones
May I ask how many? Also it will be nice to see Orinda Campaign GC from Balance and Flavor submod.

Reunification is getting some of the most significant improvements.

We'll have the full news post covering it once we're done planning/implementing most of it, since there's some other stuff we wanna cover as well. Final Imperial Push has been split into 3 different GCs since era 5 was ccovering so much, one of them specifically focusing on Orinda. I have no idea what Balance and Flavour did for it, so I can't comment on whether or not it's similar to what we plan.

Looks like a really tough NR campaign, given how scattered their planets are.

Challenge accepted!

That's a good news, but since it is my favourite GC I was afraid that it could be removed.

Also, do you plan on adding more multiplayer compatible GCs?

I've been wondering what the new Warlords will do to Reunification, especially about Harrsk and Zero Command. It could lead to some unlikely ships in the roster, but it would be really neat to see a different faction (Warlord Zsinj or the Duskan League) given the Shockwave and appropriate starting forces to represent an independent Zero Command.

Don't worry, we didn't even dreamed of removing it.

That is the music of the future, since we didn't realized how each GC will look with the warlords now a prominent force in the galaxy and some split or removed.
After that, we might see if some would be fitting for MP, and if I see even one, I'll try to hop into it ASAP, but that also depends on the team if they will accept it or not.

Looks good, so this scenario is imperial only game right? like no new republic getting into the fight, except for raid fleets I guess, nice!

Looks cool.  Can't wait for 2.2 to try out the changes.
