We've all been using our faction avatars for a few months, and tonight I made some assets for the Ascendancy update that also serve as forum signatures for the four main playable factions. To use them, copy the image url, then go to edit profile and paste them in image tags in your signature. (image tags are [ img ][/ img] without the spaces)

Now that I have the setup, it's actually super easy for me to make these, so if anyone likes the layout but wants to request a different ship/screenshot to use for one, I can personalize them. The only thing is you've gotta give me the screenshot (or link me to an existing one).

I'd love a ISD for the Imperial Remnant, the real dream though would be the Star Home or Battle Dragon from Hapes

That is the Dauntless. New ship for the NR in ICW 2.2 and I think it is already in ascendancy

That explains why. The ship seemed useless for me in Ascendcey. Mostly because the higher shielding and DPS of the MC40A

I would really love to get an Assualt Frigate sig, even if the shadows didn't turn out as well on the screenshot as I hoped, but I'm a sucker for the blue in this one.

i didn't care as much, because even though there are 2 SSDs, the NR had 2, so they can be Guardian and Lusankya. also, these are the Ascendancy screenshots, so we would need actual ICW to get the wing markings

Can't zoom in far enough in the cam to get any large scale pics like the ones in Ascendancy. sadly.

A trick for zooming in Ascendendcy is to zoom to a fighter near what you actually what to zoom to, then move the camera.  It will only allow you to zoom so far on ships, with the larger the ship the less you're able to zoom.  So zooming into something very small will allow you to zoom MUCH further.

I believe he is talking about ICW and says he can't zoom in as much as in ascendancy.

If Daala in the Knight Hammer ends up in there then I'd imagine it would be feasible to get a good shot of it for a signature. Trying to get a good sig pic in ICW is nigh impossible.

I made my own banner from the Maldrood/Terradoc one but with a fanart of Leonia Tavira ;D

I will maybe change when the Clutch Uglies will be available for Maldrood :)

So unfortunately, as you've probably noticed, the versions of signatures and avatars hosted on Photobucket have started saying I have to upgrade my account. They went from a free hosting service to requiring a premium membership to link to the images. Basically, this means I'm going to start swapping all of the images hosted from Photobucket to either imgur, or to our own server. I'm trying to get the last bits of the Ascendancy beta finished, so it'll likely have to wait until after that. This will mean people have to update the links in their signatures once it's done. Sorry for the inconvenience.
