I expected it to last 3 hours, 14 minutes, and 37 seconds.

When I joined, all I cared about was that this mod was different. I was sick of seeing half a dozen Venator models on various mods. EotH was something new.

Enceladus (I think) and I both have the same time limit on how much longer we can go.

Anyways, when I found(ed) the mod I was sitting on MSN talking to Zeron and Videoteck about starting it. And then we did.

Sometimes i think they deigned the game with modablilty in mind, considering they used XML which can be edited by any dofus with a MEG extractor and notepad. (Although it takes some serious skill to mod it good... bad grammar, lol)

there have been games with modification in mind. i could be wrong but i believe that hw2 was one of the first games where modifiing was encouraged

Most games are designed in a way that makes them easily moddable. Mods increase the life of the game, which is obviously something the companies would like. Also, stay on topic and moved.

the best example of a game where modding is encouraged would probably be the Half-life series. Games like Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat come from mods, and Valve have done pretty well out of converting mods into standalone games.

If you wanna talk about modding in general, do so here (http://gutr.swrebellion.com/forums/index.php/board,12.0.html).

Zeron? I thought you died?

Hmmmm. I joined back when IA2 and LoW were still up and running. I can't remember what I did but I remember Arbiter PM'ing me about something somwhere.

Arbiter, as soon as you're legal, come down to Kingston and we can have a drink.

You were working on making a Grand Admiral mod, I was working on a Thrawn mod. I then PM'd you about that. You or RedComm were first, other than me, Zer and Teck.

Also, I turn 18 in March. Quebec exists.

Our little Arb's all grown up now.

Anyway, I first joined about a year after it started and expected R1 to be done by that summer, which was '07 I believe?

I was struck down. I have become more powerful than you can even imagine. Well, if you have the imagination of a retarded spider monkey anyway. No offense to any retarded spider monkeys on the forum.

I was the third to join. Arb invited me to join and I was really, really bored. After Teck quit, I ended up setting up and shuffling the TR forums around everywhere until we finally got permission from Evaders to setup here. I lost interest a few times, halfway joined back up, and now I'm just hanging around.

You know, like the little brother your mom never told you about. It's not an oddly shaped lump like you think it is.
