Awesome.  I expected as much.  I know the Imperial Remnant is VERY focused on taxation and allegiance while the PA and NR are more focused on trade.  I've never done a campaign with anybody but my IR homies though xD.  I did take a look at other faction's ships, tech, and structures for a bit (especially the NR).  The EotH looks like it could be the ultimate troll faction. :D

Unless you're the NR.

PA as well. They have several techs that give pretty strong trade bonuses at the expense of planetary allegiance.

No, there is no limit to trade or culture bonuses.  The guide might have been talking about refineries, of which only three or so (it depends on the mod) can apply a bonus to any one extractor.  A little tip though: taxes are worth much more in this mod than trade in terms of cost-effectiveness (so increase population as much as possible).  As a final note, I believe refineries are disabled in this mod, at least for the Imperial Remnant.

I read in a guide somewhere that in Sins 3 trading posts is the max for actually increasing trade income. Is this true for Ascendcey?

Does this also affect having a trading post in a civilian space station?

And any similar limits on culture?
