How would this work in-game, would it be a one-off ship which is spawned at the beginning of a GC? Would it be buildable but with a lifetime limit of one? Or would it be assigned to a hero?
Also, would the Dominion and Megador get similar treatment? Admittedly they would only be used in Final Imperial Push and Orinda (If you wanted to make it).
Anyways, I hope you do have the time to add the EX-F, alongside Dominion and Megador, while Ackbar could have the Guardian for Final Imperial Push. Admittedly this might be a bit too many dreadnoughts, so I wouldn't be upset if this wasn't the case.

Era 5 is getting a rework if I remember correctly, with several GCs to play off the noteworthy theatres of combat that Final Imperial Push lumps all together.

I believe we'd most likely "retcon" the Tagge Battlecruiser (the spiney-looking thing people for some reason use as the Praetor I)and Sorannan-class star Destroyer as the same thing. Size is at least 3200 meters, and the shape makes it look like it'd be fairly accessible for modifications.

Makes sense. I was thinking the EX-F would be closer to the size of one of the larger battlecruisers (Praetor or Allegiance), and the Falcon did target its reactor in order to destroy it in the comics. As for abilities I'm thinking Power to Engines and Piett's Proton Beam.

I'd be amiable to this result

I Agree with you Corey that it may be a Super Battlecruiser or a Pocket Super Star Destroyer and it was one of the most interesting and most important too so yeah I like to see what you are going to do.
I do hope Corey and the team consider adding this ship. I know they would have to make the model from scratch, but this is a ship that played a key role in 2 major events. The black fleet crisis and the final imperial push. Its destruction signaled the end of the imperial push. I have conflicting idea about what it could look like though. On one hand I agree with miller it probably could have looked like a modified ISD. I am thinking antenas radio dishes larger weapons and engines stronger armor possibly a bigger reactor bulge due to the animatter reservoir and stronger shields. However, according to the wiki it was a testbed for star dreadnaught scale weapons and engines. So its possible it could be much alrger than you might expect. After all to destroy it the NR had to concentrate and entire fleets worth of firepower on it(including the SSD guardian) plus have their Starfighters attack its engines. I do hope they consider adding it to the game it is a pretty important ship story wise, but I understand if you guys don't have the time to make a model for it. You guys have lives and jobs after all :).
I for one Agree and I think they May by at less Thinking about add in the Ships that the Remnants had.

There's nothing to connect the EX-F and the Pellaeon class, and there's 100 years to separate it. It was just general subsystem testing on a modified existing class.
Oh I thought it was a precursor to the Pellaeon class. But yeah I can see that too. But I would like see the in mod .

The problem I have with the whole "advanced engine technology" thing is nowhere in the rest of the Legends EU is there ever any other reference to engine developments actually materialising.  Alright so EX-F was otherwise occupied for most of it's career, but the "F" implies there ought to be at least another five testbeds knocking around somewhere.
Huh now that's interesting but it not only tested Engine but Weapons Shields and other Technologies for the Empire that may have be the test Model for the Future Pellaeon class.

Thinking something battle cruiser sized, vaguely triangular with lots of modules and protrusions. Conning towers and antennas
Yeah I'm thinking about the ship looking like that in a way too.

While I'd love to go out and have it be a totally one-off look, I'd say it's probably based on the base ISD hull, possibly with some modifications such as the Conqueror had.

This topic has been inspired by numerous discussions that have sprung up around the EX-F/Glory of Yevetha/Rakehell. We know little about it: it was a test-bed for Imperial Weapons and Engine tech. It was sufficiently advanced that the Yevethans (masters of reverse-engineering) couldn't understand how its propulsion worked. When recaptured by the Remnant it was considered an important part of the Imperial fleet--as important as the Remnant's two Star Dreadnoughts. It's antimatter reactor core was powerful enough that when breached, it dealt significant damage to the Imperial fleet, destroying six other Star Destroyers and damaging Megador in the process. So, if we had unlimited modeling, coding and freedom to create this ship in the mod, what exactly are we thinking this ship should be like?
