Not just unit. Any text field in the game.

If I use a file with an established TEXT_ID and such, can I use the same tags for a new map file without causing problems? or, do the TXT tags really not matter at alll to game play?

If I need to change the IDs, if it's a new map (say, a Tournament map with three planets), do I need to sutomize the tags AND place entries into other files to match? Not sure if that made sense... LOL

I'm pretty sure TEXT_ID and the other one for Encyclopedia have to do with Unit Texts that you see when you hover over a units icon.

In some XML files, there are tags <TEXT_ID> and another for Description. What, exactly, do these do, and are they really necessary?

Or...are they important to naming a particular campaign file (for example)?
